The director/owner (Kate Williams) established Simply in Sync from having had an enriched career and lived experience within the disability sector.
Kate's pursuit to establish a service prioritising broad-ranging support for young people with disabilities - and LGBTQIA+ youth.
Simply in Sync's passion and advocacy for LGBTQIA+ youth was strengthened when the director's transgender son affirmed his identity, and the challenges experienced when requiring necessary services.
It is Symply in Sync's goal to be a reliable and informed service for Western Australia's LGBTQIA+ youths and community.
Too often our community experiences grief due to preventative youth suicides, especially by young people with disabilities expiring critical support deficits or gaps in essential service.
Simply in Sync's ethos is to bolster young people with disability by establishing a holistic support plan while ensuring access to vital supports.

We lead with compassion, creating a safe and supportive space where LGBTQIA+ individuals feel seen, respected, and genuinely cared for. Every interaction is grounded in empathy and human connection.

We proudly celebrate diversity and are committed to providing an affirming environment for people of all genders, identities, and abilities. Everyone is welcomed and valued exactly as they are.

We stand alongside the LGBTQIA+ community, championing each person’s rights, voice, and choices. We are dedicated to empowering individuals to navigate systems with confidence and dignity.

We honour each individual’s identity, lived experience, and goals by delivering support that is truly tailored to them. Our approach is flexible, affirming, and centred around the person—not the system.

We thoughtfully match participants with support workers who align with their personality, preferences, and identity. We believe meaningful connections create stronger trust, better support, and more positive outcomes.
